1. Overview

Padel FunLiga is a 3 month competition with flexible match scheduling and category movement.

2. Participation

• Players register individually and choose a partner.
• Categories belong to players, not couples. But there will be a ranking for the best couples.
• New couples start in the category equal to the average of both players' categories (rounded up).
• Players may protect their category up to 3 months per year.

3. Monthly Cycle

A. Registration

• Players select their partner for the month.
• Category Protection optional if a player cannot participate.

B. Match Scheduling

• 1 to 4 matches per month.
• Players arrange match time, place, and date freely.
• The team which plays home has the right to decide the court. But both teams can agree on it.
• No couple may play the same opponents twice in the same month.

C. Match Format

• Best of 3 sets.

D. Result Reporting

• Results reported through the app with full score and opponent details.
• Disputes can be opened if reports differ.

4. Points System

• Win 2-0: 4 points
• Win 2-1: 3 points
• Loss 1-2: 2 points
• Loss 0-2: 1 points
• Not played: 0 point
• Tie breaks in third sets: If both teams agree play a tie-break or super tie-break. Otherwise book another day if the time is over.

5. Ranking & Tiebreaks

Ranking is based on total points obtained in a Category. Tiebreak rules:

1. Head-to-head result
2. Percentage sets won
3. Percentage games won
4. Random draw

6. Promotion & Relegation

• Top 10% couples move up one category.
• Bottom 10% couples move down one category.
• Players using Category Protection do not move and do not count in promotion/relegation.

7. Fair Play

• No rematches within the same month.
• Players are expected to report scores honestly.
• Organizers may request evidence in case of disputes.
